  The Customer Service Department at ProjectorCenter offers a variety of services when problems arise with pre- and post-sales. Contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-868-4904, x110. Use our direct toll-free number to obtain an RMA number, ask questions about the information below, or obtain help with a freight discrepancy.


Freight Discrepancy

If you have a product that is damaged by a carrier or lost in transit, or you have an incomplete shipment from ProjectorCenter, you must contact the Customer Service Department. No matter what the condition of the product, you must sign for the shipment and note any discrepancies/exceptions on the carrier's Delivery Receipt. FAILURE TO NOTE ANY DISCREPANCIES FOR A SHIPMENT MAY CAUSE YOUR CLAIM TO BE DENIED.

Requests to research a Freight Discrepancy must be made within 10 days from the invoice date. If they are requested past 10 days, we will be unable to honor your request. Some carriers limit the time we can report a Freight Claim to them; therefore, some freight issues may have additional time restrictions.

When reporting a discrepancy, you must include the following information:

  Sales order or invoice number      
           
  Serial number      
           
  Product code and quantity      
           
  Tracking number      
           
  If a replacement is needed      

If you provide all of the information above, Customer Service will be able to research your issue more effectively.


Return Authorization (RMA) Numbers

Customer Service also issues return authorization (RMA) numbers for new, unopened product, as an additional service to you. Information needed for RMA numbers includes:

  Sales order or invoice number      
           
  Product code(s) (if the product is a kit, please reference each component part number)      
           
  Exact condition of product/box      
           
  How credit is to be applied, refund or on account      

When returned product goes through processing, technicians check it and note the condition of the product and the box.


Helpful Hints

Keep clear notes on the conditions of each return:

  Note when the product was sent back, who sent it back, and any other information that might prove useful if discrepancies arise      
           
  Keep a copy of your Return Authorization Packing List with your RMA number noted, since all credit memos reference this number      
           
  If you have a dispute, please notify Customer Service immediately      
           
  Verify any fees when receiving your RMA number      


Customer Returns Due to Shipping Errors

Although we strive to ship all orders right the first times shipping errors may occur. If you receive an item you did not order, it may be returned to ProjectorCenter at no charge.


A ProjectorCenter invoice number is required to obtain an RMA number

Requests for RMA numbers due to ProjectorCenter errors must be made within 10 days of the invoice date or it will not be authorized. If requested, ProjectorCenter will replace the missing product. In addition, a call tag will be issued to pick up product from your location. Returns due to ProjectorCenter error may still be requested after 10 days past the invoice date; however, different terms and conditions will apply.


DOA Returns

  Requests for DOA Return Authorization numbers must be made within 10 days from the invoice date      
           
  Any product returned as DOA and subsequently found not to be defective will be returned to the customer with outbound shipping costs to be paid by the customer or a 25% restocking fee will be assessed      
           
  On-site warranty repair is required for all DOA configured products      
           
  DOA product must be returned in the original manufacturer's box and packaging, with all the peripherals and accessories intact      
           
  Different terms and conditions may apply to DOA returns based on certain suppliers' specific terms and conditions.      


Fees

  Factory Sealed, current product can be returned within 5 days of the invoice date with no fee.      
           
  Any product return requested after 5 days from the date of invoice will be assessed a 25 percent restocking fee.      


Other Terms and Conditions

  1. ProjectorCenter must receive all returns within 30 days of the issuance of an RMA number. Otherwise, ProjectorCenter will return the product to you with outbound shipping costs to be paid by you. ProjectorCenter may also choose to keep the product and assess a restock fee of 25 percent above and beyond any other applicable fees.

  2. All product returned to ProjectorCenter must to be complete and in the original manufacturer's box and packaging, with all the peripherals and accessories intact.

  3. Credit for returns will always be at the invoice price or current day price; whichever is lower (except for returns due to ProjectorCenter error or DOA product within 30 days of the date of invoice).

  4. We require a valid ProjectorCenter invoice number referencing the specific item to be returned before we will issue an RMA number.

  5. Product that is used or is found not to be in new condition for any reason will be returned to you at your expense (outbound shipping costs). If product is found to be damaged by your carrier, you will be contacted by Customer Service to make arrangements with your carrier to pick up the product so you can file a claim.

  6. An RMA number must be obtained before you return a product for any reason. Product received without a valid RMA number (such as refused shipments) is subject to a restocking fee of 25 percent of the total credit, above and beyond any other applicable fees, or may be returned to you at your expense. ProjectorCenter will not be liable for any loss or damage to unauthorized returns.

  7. ProjectorCenter reserves the right to refuse returns of certain products due to manufacturer restrictions.

  8. ProjectorCenter must be notified within 30 days from your return authorization date if you have sent us product and have not received credit. Signed proof of delivery to our facility will be required before we can begin our research. Requests received over 30 days from your return authorization date may cause your credit to be forfeited.

Returns Procedure/Shipping Instructions

  1. To obtain an RMA number, call Customer Service at 1-800-868-4904 #110. To ensure a speedy and accurate credit, Customer Service will provide a Return Authorization Packing List with the RMA number referenced to use as your shipping label. DO NOT WRITE ON THE BOX, ProjectorCenter reserves the right to assess a fee for product that requires re-boxing.

  2. Please return the product, freight prepaid to:

    Returns must be shipped freight prepaid, collect shipments will be considered an unauthorized return and will be sent back to you at your expense.

  3. Where a specific return period is indicated (i.e., 30 days), no returns will be accepted beyond that period.

  4. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss on all return shipments. We highly recommend using a reputable shipping carrier capable of providing proof of delivery, as well as properly packing and fully insuring your return shipment.

  5. There will be a $50.00 re-boxing fee (in addition to any applicable restocking fee) for products not returned in the original manufacturer's packaging.

  6. Please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.

  7. Please note all additional return conditions stated below, as applicable to your return.


All Hardware and Anything Else

  1. Product that is in its original, undamaged factory-sealed container may be returned to ProjectorCenter within 30 days of the original shipping date for a refund or exchange.

  2. Product that has been opened may be returned to ProjectorCenter within 30 days of the original shipping date, although such returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee. All products must be returned in as-new, re-saleable condition in their original packaging. Any manuals, cables etc. that are missing will result in rejection of the return or an additional restocking fee.

  3. Product that is DOA (dead on arrival) or defective may be returned to ProjectorCenter for refund or exchange within 30 days of the original shipping date with no restocking fee.
